Students’ motivation to study science: The case of Arab students in Israel

چکیده

The current study investigates the level of students’ motivation in Arab schools Israel to science subjects. In addition, we examined whether there was a difference motivation: (1) between students different types (elementary, middle, and secondary schools), (2) boys girls, (3) according educational achievement, (4) studying with male or female teachers. included 838 from schools. convenience sample method used which 25 items assessed five motivational categories: intrinsic, career, self-determination, self-efficacy, achievement. findings showed that among subjects significantly high all (p≤0.05), but were significant differences three (p≤0.05). revealed higher: girls than achievement medium/low levels whose teachers are females males
